Creative ActionCreative Action

Creative Action is a specialized, full-year program for Grade 8 students who have shown leadership potential and a desire to cultivate their passion in the arts to make a difference in their community and beyond. The Creative Action program is located at North Park Wilson School.
EcoquestEcoquest

Ecoquest is a unique ecological, outdoor adventure program for Grade 8 students in Saskatoon Public Schools that provides active and challenging learning experiences. Located at City Park School, Grade 8 students division-wide apply to be a part of the program.
Flexible Schedule Blended Learning (FLEX)Flexible Schedule Blended Learning (FLEX)

The FLEX program allows students in Grade 6-12 to combine education with outside, high-level training. Located at City Park School.
French ImmersionFrench Immersion

Saskatoon Public Schools offers its kindergarten to Grade 8 elementary French immersion program at eight elementary schools. French immersion students learn French and English and follow provincial curricula.
Home-Based EducationHome-Based Education

A home-based education program is a program based in the home, started and directed by the parents or guardians, for their own children between the ages of 6 and 17 years of age inclusive.
iGeniGen

The iGen program sees Grade 6 students spend a full school year in a unique classroom experience at Sherbrooke Community Centre. iGen is short for “intergenerational classroom” and the program has students working with and learning from the Elders of Sherbrooke. Grade 6 students division-wide apply for the program.
KindergartenKindergarten

Kindergarten is a special time and place in the life of a young child. Saskatoon Public Schools are open to all children and dedicated to embracing every student. Kindergarten classes are small to encourage individualized education and include a strong literacy component.
Let's Lead - NīkānētānLet's Lead - Nīkānētān

Let’s Lead – Nīkānētān is a full school year program for Grade 8 students who enjoy being in the outdoors and want to improve their leadership and teamwork skills while working on curriculum in a practical format. Based at Westmount Community School, Grade 8 students division-wide apply to be a part of the program.
Ma Taant sa Plaas Michif Early Learning ProgramMa Taant sa Plaas Michif Early Learning Program

The Ma Taant sa Plaas Michif early learning program is designed to preserve, strengthen and transmit Michif language, culture, and traditions. This full-day unique program provides children ages 3, 4, and 5 with an experience that will build a strong cultural Michif/Métis identity and increased academic success.
Métis Cultural ProgramMétis Cultural Program

The Métis Cultural Program at Westmount Community School was created to preserve, strengthen and transmit Métis culture and traditions in Saskatchewan. It includes all students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 and is delivered exclusively from a Métis perspective.

The Montessori Elementary Program at City Park School is offered to students in Grades 1 to 8. Montessori philosophy and methodology is used to deliver Saskatchewan curricula. The program uses an application process.

The Nêhiyâwiwin Cree Language and Culture Program at wâhkôhtowin School is a bilingual learning strategy that focuses on creating a language- and culture-rich classroom environment for prekindergarten to Grade 8 students.

The Online Learning Centre Elementary (OLCE) offers full-time kindergarten to Grade 8 curriculum options in both English and French immersion as part of a fully online method.

Saskatoon Public Schools offers a total of 38 prekindergarten programs at 15 schools. Prekindergarten programming is offered where children may benefit from additional supports such as speech, language and social development programming.
SAGE Gifted EducationSAGE Gifted Education

SAGE is a congregated program for gifted students. Admission is by invitation or application. It is offered for Grade 5-8 students at three elementary schools — Greystone Heights, Caswell and Dr. John G. Egnatoff. The program is offered for Grade 9-12 students at Walter Murray Collegiate and Grade 9-10 students at Bedford Road and Evan Hardy collegiates.
ScienceTrekScienceTrek

Located at Montgomery School, ScienceTrek is a field-based science program created to inspire grade eight students to grow academically, socially, personally and culturally. Grade 8 students division-wide apply to be a part of the program.
