To celebrate ‘May is Better Speech and Hearing Month’, the Saskatoon Public Schools’ speech language pathologists, or SLPs, have prepared a brief video presentation celebrating student success. The video presentation also demonstrates the various ways in which the SLPs are able to shape and facilitate student success throughout the school year.
The SLPs are an important part of each school’s collaborative TEAM, and their consultation and expertise are highly sought out by teachers and staff working with students who have complex communication needs. Whether the progress made is rapid or gradual, the growth and evolution of students’ functional communication skills is the most exciting and rewarding part of the SLP profession.
Today we celebrate the dedicated work of our SLPs with students in Saskatoon Public Schools!
