Royal University Hospital School and Homebound Programs

Saskatoon Public Schools provides educational support through two unique programs for students who are ill and unable to attend school.

The Royal University Hospital School Program provides support to any student of school age who is hospitalized. Students are tutored at bedside, and when possible attend a classroom in the hospital.

The Homebound Program offers tutorial support to any student who, due to illness, is unable to attend school for a period of time recommended by a medical professional. The support is provided in their home or at a mutually agreed upon alternate location.

Marty Hoehn and Andra Thorstad, Hospital/Homebound teachers and Krista Ford, Principal of Brunskill School, will be in attendance to share more about this important programming.
