Saskatchewan Alternate Format Materials Library

The Saskatchewan Alternate Format Materials Library (SAFM) is operated by Saskatoon Public Schools with funding from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education. Our purpose is to provide curricular resources in alternate formats for K-12 students across the province with perceptual disabilities that prevent them from accessing regular text.

The alternate format materials library provides braille, large print, audio, and e-text titles for students with perceptual disabilities provincewide. Teachers and support staff that work with these students can also borrow professional resources from us.
