Prerequisite: History 10 or Indigenous studies 10 

Note: Students must have credit for either History 30 or Indigenous Studies 30 to satisfy graduation requirements.

Description

History 30 is a Canadian Studies program emphasizing the relationships and forces that have shaped and continue to shape Canada. The units of study include: confederation, external affairs, and nationalism. Key content areas include: Indigenous peoples, European settlers and Canadian government. The road to confederation, Canadian Identities and voices of Canadian women, BIPOC Canadians, LGBTQ2S Canadians as well as current political events.
