About our School

Queen Elizabeth School is a diverse and supportive school community.

Queen Elizabeth School provides families with the benefits of a small school while living in the best city in Western Canada!

Our small school offers the benefits of being able to connect with all students in a deep, meaningful way. This translates into a strong sense of engagement with our staff and students, and there is no better place to learn than in a school that provides a family atmosphere. We build strong relationships with our students that model healthy lifestyles. This includes a grassroots program called "Fresh Fruit Fridays" — a day when a local business donates seasonal fruits and vegetables to our school. Every Friday, students and staff prepare and deliver fresh fruit to every classroom!  What a great way to model healthy living!

Queen Elizabeth School is committed to providing a safe and caring environment that meets the needs of all students. Our Kindergarten students attend half days every day and benefit from a play-based academically rich program. Students in Grade 1 to Grade 8 receive differentiated instruction, with First Nations and Métis ways of knowing woven into and across all Saskatchewan core curricula.  Our students receive specialized instruction in Physical Education and Arts education from teacher specialists. Our Grade 6-8 students welcome the opportunity to participate in our Band program.

We have an amazing number of program advantages at our school. Our educational program include:
