Take Our Kids to Work is a distinctive component of the Middle Years Career Guidance Curriculum. This event provides Grade 9 students with the opportunity for a one-day, job-shadowing experience with a parent, friend, relative or volunteer increasing students' understanding of the importance of skills, training and education to their success.
Saskatoon Public Schools participates in this Canada-wide experience, which provides students with a unique opportunity to learn about the world of work, as well as the expectations, responsibilities and skills required in the workplace and the challenges people experience on the job.
