Preparations are underway to welcome students to Sylvia Fedoruk School, one of four new Saskatoon Public Schools elementary schools scheduled to open in September 2017.
Work on the joint-use school projects located in the Hampton Village, Evergreen, Rosewood and Stonebridge neighbourhoods reached the halfway mark in mid-September and the projects are on-schedule for early summer 2017 occupancy to begin preparation for classes.
Earlier this year, Saskatoon Public Schools appointed principals for all four of the new schools, including Mrs. Miranda Low at Sylvia Fedoruk School, located in the Evergreen neighbourhood. All of the principals will assume full-time duties for their new schools early in 2017.
Registration information for the schools will be available during the fall of 2016. Questions about student enrolment and education matters related specifically to Sylvia Fedoruk School can be addressed to Principal Low via email.
Each of the four joint-use projects being built by the Government of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon will also include a 90-space childcare facility. Once the childcare providers for each location have been selected the respective providers will provide information to parents on registration and other details.
