Students encouraged to #BeSomeonesHero during Pink Week

February 26, 2019

Saskatoon Public Schools is committed to creating safe, caring and accepting learning and work environments. It is our goal to work together with parents/caregivers/guardians and community partners to support students as they develop moral values, display ethical conduct, and achieve to the best of their ability.

Our school division will be recognizing Pink Week February 25–March 1 with events, presentations, guest speakers, and lessons in our schools. The week includes Pink Day on Wednesday Feb. 27, a day of awareness and celebration led by our partners at the Canadian Red Cross. The theme for this year is #BeSomeonesHero.

This recognition of Pink Week fits with our commitment to teach students about healthy and respectful relationships. Saskatoon Public Schools believes in creating safe, caring and accepting learning and work environments. The goal is for schools to work together with parents/caregivers and community partners to support students as they develop moral values, display ethical conduct, and achieve to the best of their ability.
