ROYAL PEOPLE...
Mount Royal is a school for everyone. Students come from nearby neighborhoods and from the Dakota Whitecap First Nation. They come from over 27 countries across the world and over 65 First Nations in Western Canada. Innovative and inspired teachers share their love of learning in classrooms around the school. Mustang Minutes show the warm hearts of Royal students through projects like collecting warm coats for newcomers or sponsoring an orphaned pet. Royal spirit soars around the school and beyond school doors.

ROYAL PROGRAMS...
Discover Royal’s diversity and excellence. There is a world of opportunities in which academics thrive and opportunities in trades and skills abound. From machining a plumb bob to making a perfect biscuit, from welding to world religions, from computer graphics to cosmetology, from work education to the intricacies of physics. Royal has something for everyone.

WE DON’T...
Raise money or ask that you plan school-based activities. We also don’t ask that you be at every meeting. Come when you can – you are always welcome.

WE DO...
Need your support and guidance. Mount Royal is changing. Our student population is changing. Our world is changing. The more input we have from parents, guardians, students, community members and staff together – the better we can be. Now that your children are out of elementary school they still need you to take an interest in what their job is – succeeding in high school.

WE MEET TO TALK...
We meet approximately six times a year. If you would like more information or would like to be put on a distribution list to be informed prior to each meeting, please contact Shannon Peters at 683-7807 or email peterss@spsd.sk.ca  We’d love you to join the Community School Council.
