Welcome to Lawson Heights School!
At our school, we strive to create an inclusive environment where every student is known, valued and believed in. Our dedicated staff are committed to helping each child develop to their fullest potential. We are fortunate to have many families in our community from diverse cultural backgrounds, giving us the opportunity to learn from each other. Our goal is to help children develop skills that will allow them to work cooperatively as they become engaged citizens of our community, city, province and country.
Our school is one of two within Saskatoon Public Schools that focuses on nature-based learning, and we are very excited to offer this opportunity to our students. The research strongly shows that a connection to nature lowers anxiety and supports growth in social, emotional and cognitive areas. We provide our students with a range of opportunities to learn in and outside of the classroom about, from and for nature.
