Our School Community Council is comprised of an enthusiastic group of parents, caregivers, school administrators and community members committed to supporting our school's Strategic Plan and ensuring the best possible education for our children.
Here are some recent École Lakeview SCC initiatives:
- Fostering Parent/Teacher Engagement at our school, including a presentation by Debbie Pushor;
- Working with staff to create a school-wide Winter Festival;
- Invited families to a "Math Fun Night" where parents were exposed to math exercises that their children perform in their classes;
- An SCC member has been working in our classrooms to share her artistic Talents with students, promoting conservation efforts in the process;
- Promoting literacy through a school-wide Book and Novel Exchange
