Saskatoon Public Schools is welcoming new students and families back to school.
The first full day of school for students in Grade 1-8 is Wednesday, Sept. 4. Kindergarten students have a staggered start to allow them to become comfortable with the school and their classmates. Information on the kindergarten start schedule at each school is available from the school office.
Students who are new to Canada should contact the school division's Newcomer Student Centre at (306) 683-8400 for an appointment. Staff will determine a student's eligibility to study by looking at their immigration documents, assist with registration and assess the student's English language skills if necessary.
School supply lists for the 2019-20 school year are posted on each school website, usually under the About Our School menu or on the Registration Information page.
