École College Park School is home to a Kindergarten to Grade 8 French Immersion program that runs alongside the school's English program. The program is designed for students whose first language is not French.  The program uses French as the primary language of instruction and communication in the school setting to enable students to acquire functional language skills. 

Our French Immersion program serves the following neighborhoods: College Park, East College Park, Wildwood, Brevoort Park and Greystone Heights. Students from these neighborhoods will receive bussing to École College Park School unless they live within walking distance of the school.

French Immersion programming is provided through an authentic learning environment and engaging linguistic experiences.  Students will participate in diverse and enriching French learning activities both in and out of the classroom. 

Students typically enter the French Immersion program in Kindergarten or Grade 1. This is because the foundations of French language are established early in these primary grades.  To ensure student success, early enrolment is recommended. French Immersion is open to all students and families, regardless of the spoken language at home.  This program is an excellent choice for those wishing to learn to communicate effectively in both languages in Canada.
