charger2 540x420.jpgCentennial Collegiate is hosting its 10th annual C4 – Centennial Charger Charity Classic senior boys' basketball tournament Dec. 6-7, 2019.

All profits from the tournament go toward two charitable initiatives – the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation and the high school's ACTS of Kindness projects, which will support local charities including: Interval House, Global Gathering Place, The Lighthouse, and day cares located at Mount Royal Collegiate and Royal West Campus.

Since it began, the tournament has raised close to $25,000 for charity.

There will be eight high schools participating from around Saskatchewan: Centennial Collegiate, Evan Hardy Collegiate, Marion M. Graham Collegiate, Walter Murray Collegiate, North Battleford Comprehensive, Sheldon Williams Collegiate (Regina), St. Mary High School (Prince Albert) and Yorkton Regional.

Friday is FREEDAY at the tournament with visitors encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation. There will also be a silver collection at the door. On Saturday, day passes are $10 per person or $5 per game.

All tournament information, rosters, scores and more, will be available on the tournament website in advance of the event at www.chargercharityclassic.com.
