IB Core
IB Diploma students must also fulfill the requirements of the
Theory of Knowledge (ToK) course, Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) component and the Extended Essay (EE). ToK encourages students to consider what they know, how they know it and how areas of knowledge overlap. The CAS requirement encourages students to develop their potential in creative and active pursuits as well as to develop a spirit of community service. The EE allows a Diploma candidate to do independent research in a subject and on a topic of interest. A teacher supervisor is assigned. In addition, our IB students have borrowing privileges at the University of Saskatchewan Library .
