Description:  

In this course you will learn some basic skills in five major areas related to technical drawing and Computer-Aided Design (CAD).  This course is an excellent starting point for students who are considering careers in engineering, drafting, architecture, construction, surveying and machining.

The course is practical in nature and focused upon skill-building in proprietary and open-source software packages. We will work mostly within 2D and 3D CAD environments, with particular emphasis on developing skill with LibreCAD and FreeCAD.

Additional Requirements:

A laptop or PC with the ability to install open-source software is required for this course.
