Prekindergarten openings available at Pleasant Hill, W.P. Bate and King George schools

November 08, 2017

Prekindergarten in Saskatoon Public Schools helps provide an introduction to learning for three-and four-year-old children who may benefit from additional supports in areas as speech, language and social development.

Although the school year is underway the prekindergarten programs at Pleasant Hill, W.P. Bate and King George schools have openings for new students. Interested parents or guardians may contact the schools directly for more information at the following numbers: Pleasant Hill — (306) 683-7390; W.P. Bate — (306) 683-7510; or King George at (306) 683-7310.

Prekindergarten programs focus on the development of the whole child -- physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual. In prekindergarten children experience active, experiential learning through play and a comprehensive, integrated program within a prepared environment. Prekindergarten helps children develop language and communication skills; develop problem-solving skills; learn to co-operate with others; and make new friendships.
