Alvin Buckwold School was built in 1966 and is located in southeast Saskatoon within walking distance of Market Mall Shopping Centre and across the street from James Anderson Park. We offer a regular program for students in Kindergarten to Grade 8, and new to our school a French Immersion program for Kindergarten to Grade 4. We also offer bussing to students in the Stonebridge area of Saskatoon
Alvin Buckwold houses a preschool program for three and four year old children, and the Eastview Daycare Cooperative which offers both a before and an after school program.
We offer a resource program; a music program, led by our fine arts teacher and band instructor; and educational assistants who work directly with students needing assistance.
Alvin Buckwold School boasts an active School Community Council. Our gym is well-used by community groups during evening hours. We offer a wide-range of extra-curricular clubs, sports and activities.
