About Our School
École Alvin Buckwold School was built in 1966 and is located in southeast Saskatoon within walking distance of Market Mall shopping centre and across the street from James Anderson Park.

École Alvin Buckwold School offers an English stream and a French Immersion stream, both from kindergarten to Grade 8. We offer many educational opportunities for our students, including core French (grades 4 to 8), music, band (grades 6 to 8), resource support and educational assistants, and daily physical activity. We also strive to engage students in our school through extracurricular activities, including sports, choir, house leagues, hand bells, environmental club and Student Leadership Council.

At École Alvin Buckwold School, we are a dynamic, multi-cultural group that is proud to have students and families join us from all over the world. We promote our similarities and celebrate our differences. We are also proud of our active School Community Council, where parents can engage with the school and community by planning activities like family literacy evenings, math evenings and community potlucks that celebrate our diversity.

Our school is home to a preschool program for three- and four-year-old children and a Before and After School Care program, both of which are operated by the Eastview Centre for Early Learning Co-operative.

Bienvenue! Welcome!
