Mathematics 30 Pre-Calculus

Prerequisite: MATH 20 Pre-Calculus

 

Description: This course is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical thinking skills identified for entry into post-secondary programs that require the study of theoretical calculus.
 
Topics include: the unit circle, trigonometic functions, trigonometric equations and identities, logarithmic and exponential functions and equations, counting principles, transformations, and composition of functions, radical functions, rational functions, and polynomial functions.
 
Required Textbook: You will be provided with a digital license for the Math 30 text (shown on left). If you wish, you can purchase a hard copy from:
