Summary

Secretary and Clerical employees are members of the Canadian Union of Public Employees Local 8443. As such the selection and staffing of these positions are governed by the collective agreement.

Qualifications

Secretaries within the Saskatoon Public Schools are required to have completed Grade 12 or equivalent standing plus a one year recognized secretarial program. Other clerical positions in Accounting, Audio Visual, Printing, Purchasing, etc. have qualifications which are unique to the position. Applications for Secretarial/Clerical positions are accepted throughout the year. They are kept on file for three months and applicants must contact Human Resources in order to update their application.   Applicants are requested to provide references from last three employers.
